I shoot things other than kids occasionally :) I tagged along with my good friends Tess and Andrew from Seaglass Photography in Maine to help out with a swimsuit shoot- and to do their maternities! Everyone should congratulate Tess ( and maybe offer her a foot massage) for doing this shoot being 8 months pregnant. We were on the rocks of Kettle Cove in Maine, and the terrain was a bit..uhh..rocky, to say the least!

I had a sibling shoot with this gorgeous little doll and her new brother, little “A”. I thought they both deserved their own posts, and ‘A’ is next! :)

 

 

Isn’t she gorgeous? Cheeky and bright, playful and smart. She gave me a run for my money! :)

Mitch just signed with Cameo Kids for representation in Talent and Modeling! I hung out with him, his little bro, and his fun mama for a day. We played golf, swung on swings, hit the beach, and explored the old downtown area near his house. We had a blast!

 Look at those eyes! When I view the image bigger, I can see both Mitch’s little brother and I in his eyes, in our respective pink and yellow coats. Amazing!

And of course we needed a shot with Mitch’s little brother, Will, who was quite the ham as well! 

 

 If these images look slightly different from my normal editing, it’s because I am still getting used to this monitor and its calibration. But other than the color and brightness, I LOVE how these images look on a Mac!

I am now writing to you from one of these babies! And yes, it’s absolutely fantastic. I feel like I’m sitting in the front row of a movie theater with my 24″ monitor, and my Photoshop runs like a dream. For all of you tech people out there, I ended up going with (after much debate) the 2.8 GHz processor, 4GB RAM, and a 500 Hard Drive, which will be updated soon to a 750. And I couldn’t be happier. All of my images and software have been transferred, and now I’m playing catch-up. Thanks for all your patience and understanding!

 

In other news, I’ve recently teamed up with Boston Mamas , a blog-based website geared towards the hardworking Moms of the Boston area. Mariah M Photography is one of their featured vendors, and we’ll be gearing up for a special surprise giveaway in July, so make sure to look out for that! You may have been wondering where I’ve gone, because I usually write every day here (or try to!). I haven’t been at a massive three-day long Memorial Day cookout, or out on a Hawaian Beach (though that would be a preferable excuse!).

 My trusty computer is dying on me, and I’ve found over the weekend that I cannot run any applications needed to proof my sessions. So, I am running out today to buy a brand-spankin’-new Mac desktop, and all should be fine this afternoon!

 For those of you waiting on galleries and CDs, I should be able to catch up on these this afternoon and tonight. No images are lost, and all of my data is safe. Please be patient with me while I switch all of my data over to the new baby! Email should be working, but I may not get to your emails until later tonight or tomorrow, as I will be downloading from this computer and uploading to the new one.
