Monthly Archives: April 2008  The beautiful, springy, light, airy, Taylor! …Taylor through the flowers. SUCH a fun shoot, and she was such a good model. Beautiful, smart, and absolutely inspiring to work with. What a combination! And if you can’t tell, I was so inspired by the flowering trees we worked with. I believe the pink flowers are Magnolias…not sure...  Since the ‘baby in a hat’ post, I’ve gotten some emails asking to see what I bring to sessions. It just so happens that I had my baby bags all packed for a session yesterday, so I took some shots of what I usually bring in the pink one. We’ll refer to exhibit A, the Newborn Tote...  It’s hard to capture a photograph in words, or a life, for that matter. If I were to describe a picture to you, and said “The bowl of apples perched precariously on the frame, halving their sweetness with some unknown world, while the fork sits prominently off-center on the composition, quietly, politely suggesting you make your move before their sweetness...  …one of the blogs on my google reader (oh shush, I’m a blog geek. with thick-framed glasses, and I DO push them up my nose occasionally). Since it’s getting warmer, and one of my clients and I went to the beach today (man was it breezy, but beautiful!), I decided we should bring some sunshine... Though nothing can compare to professional photography and products, there’s really no time for a parent that you don’t want to capture your kids. Especially on the beach.
