As most of you may know, I don’t get the chance to shoot many adults in my busy kid-filled schedule. It’s all non-stop acton with kids- running, color, and fast little smiles. But this session was so low-key, I almost didn’t know what to do with myself, lol. A model that stays still without the promise of ice cream? And takes absolute direction without running away screaming? Unheard of! :)
This is some of Devin’s portfolio. We talked crew (I used to row- fun fact), art (his mother is a spectacular oil painter), and explored the gorgeous locations around Amherst, MA. He lives in a 180-year old farmhouse on the Connecticut river, and you should have seen my face when I saw THAT! Photographer’s dream! We went for a vintage, stylish theme.
Anyway, enough with the talk. Here are a few highlight images:

Isn’t that so James Dean? Love the tie with the tank top. We’ll now continue on with our regulary scheduled programming of flower photography and kids’ sessions. :)
Until next Time,
Mariah
