Last week was my vacation week, and as such, we traveled all over- Cape Cod, Boston… okay, we didn’t travel ‘all over’, but we packed the week full of friends, meet-ups, photography, and great food- all while staying in Massachusetts.
Dave and I stayed in a little B&B on the Cape for a couple days, watching episodes of House and drinking tea for practically the entire stay. Ahhh, relaxation. We did venture out one night to an Italian restaurant down the road- and, I say this in all seriousness- after I ate my entree (garlic chicken with lemon sauce and red potatoes), I wanted ANOTHER entree, haha. It was so. good. I wish I took a picture of it, but you’ll have to believe me. If you’re on the Cape, you have to go to Nauset Beach Club and try it for yourself!
The cookies above were for tea time, or “afternoon repast”, as they called it at the B&B. Pecan pies and chocolate sandwich cookies.
One of the few time we ventured into the cold, we went down to the beach to take some pictures.
But, we didn’t last long. See how cold Dave looks? Poor thing. Back to watching House DVDs!
