When you walk into Newburyport’s Lively Kids on State Street, you’ll notice two things: one, you will NOT get out of that store without outfitting every kid you know, and two, there are Mariah M Postcards up front! Okay, you may not notice the postcards right off, but I understand. The clothes are way cuter :)
I met with Kim Lively, Lively Kids’ very stylish owner over the weekend, and I told her, as I looked at the multi-colored sweaters, multi-tiered girls’ sundressed, Minimink wear, and adorable baby leg warmers, that I was going to try my best to send all of my clients there. Because I love. their. clothes. I myself didn’t make it out of there without buying something, and I picked up some hats, ruffly diaper covers, rain boots, and baby leg warmers to add to my prop arsenal. I also stood there and counted off every friend I knew that was having a baby and justified buying “I’m New Here” onesies for all of them. Oh, the cuteness.
And so of course, Lively Kids is our newest addition to the “What To Wear” guide. When you stop by the store, tell Kim that “Mariah M sent us!”, and she’ll help you pick out the cutest clothes for any type of session- family, sibling, or kids. Your little ones will look straight out of a magazine, and will be gleefully preoccupied with their activities table while you shop.
